Goa experienced a significant boost in rainfall after a week of sluggish monsoon activity, with 332.2mm recorded in just four days. This surge pushed the overall total to 2865mm, exceeding the normal level by 7.3%. Despite causing property and agricultural damage, the recent heavy spells have contributed to a normal monsoon season, as predicted by the India Meteorological Department.
