Cyber honey trap costs Valpoi man Rs 1.4 crore

A 52-year-old man from Valpoi was duped of Rs 1.4 crore in a cyber honey trap orchestrated through a fake matrimonial site. Police arrested a 23-year-old Nagpur resident, Rushabh Ishwariprasad Hanvate, who allegedly received a portion of the funds. The victim was lured into a fraudulent forex trading scheme, leading to multiple transactions. Investigations are ongoing.
