Kids who grew up in slums, bldg sites set for careers in geoinformatics, CA

Hamara School, an initiative in Goa, has transformed the lives of underprivileged children like Irfan Simphigher, Diksha Gawas, and Karishma Suja. Irfan, once a construction worker's child, is now pursuing chartered accountancy. Diksha, whose parents struggled with low-paying jobs, received a scholarship for her MSc. Karishma, who grew up in slums, is now a tutor aspiring to be a teacher.
