Goa police demotes six ad hoc PIs to PSIs over pending criminal cases

Six Goa Police inspectors have been demoted to sub-inspectors as they were not fully cleared in criminal cases. This action follows a High Court observation against promoting officers with pending criminal proceedings. The promotions were made subject to the outcome of these cases, with a provision for reversion.
