Goa CM Pramod Sawant aims to boost reading habit with library policy

Goa's cabinet has greenlit a 10-year state library policy, aiming to boost reading habits across all public, school, and private libraries. The initiative includes upgrading librarian skills, promoting e-libraries, and ensuring competitive exam materials are available. This policy updates the 1993 Goa Library Act and will also introduce 'libraries on wheels' to reach more communities.
